Learning how to drive comes with a vast variety of feelings, from fear, to excitement. Getting into the driver’s seat for the first time I did not know what to expect, but that did not stop my excitement. Driving a car is just as much different as it is similar to driving a golf cart. The steering and brake are the same, however when it comes to the gas that is a different story. The pedal does not have to be pushed to the floor just to get the car to accelerate. Unlike a golf cart. A good thing to remember is, ease into the gas.
For me the hardest thing was learning how to park correctly. Especially parallel parking, I could never get the car to come even close to the lines. Just like for everything else practice ended up being my key to success. The thing that brought me the most fear was taking my driver’s test. During the test it was difficult to concentrate, while I knew I was being watched by a guy determining my fate. Or if I would get my license or not. What was the hardest part for you when you started driving?
